41/1 Changpuek Soi 4 Si phum Amphoe Muang

POR Santitham

8.0/10 · our working from the room score

Why it makes the list

A dedicated desk is shown in multiple room layouts.
Several supplied reviews describe the property as suitable for laptop or remote work.
Some rooms show nearby power outlets.

Know the trade-off

Desk dimensions and chair ergonomics are not documented.

11/1 Arak T.Sriphum A.Muang

The Peaberry Boutique Hotel

7.0/10 · our working from the room score

Rooms include laptop-friendly desks, and guests who worked here generally liked the setup. The chair, desk size, monitor space, and glare conditions are not well established, so it is better for occasional work than a guaranteed ergonomic office. Pair it with the generally capable Wi-Fi, while keeping expectations modest for a full working day.

Why it makes the list

Dedicated desks are visible in multiple rooms.
The work surfaces appear suitable for a laptop.
Reviews supplied describe the desk and working space positively.

Know the trade-off

Chair ergonomics are not established.
Desk dimensions and monitor suitability are not documented.
Natural-light quality and glare cannot be reliably scored from marketing images.

Some rooms show substantial window area beside the workspace.

Know the trade-off

A little preparation pays off

Before you book

Good stays begin with a little planningEditorial illustration

Confirm the desk and chair in the exact room category you will book.
Check sockets, lighting and space for a laptop or external screen.
Read the Wi-Fi evidence separately; an attractive desk does not prove a reliable connection.

Our selection method

Why these hotels?

We compare our reviewed Chiang Mai hotels. A pick needs a category score of at least 7/10, at least moderate model confidence, and five relevant guest reviews. The analysis must be no more than 180 days old.

Read the full selection rules

We order by category score, then confidence and review evidence. These are AI-assisted assessments, not guest-star ratings or guarantees. Model confidence is a self-assessment, not a statistical probability. We flag evidence older than 30 days. Commission does not affect inclusion or order. We have not visited these hotels in person.
