The evidence behind the recommendation
Know what we checked.
And what we couldn’t.
LodgeLens uses AI to analyse accommodation photos and guest feedback. We show the evidence and the trade-offs so you can decide whether a stay fits your trip.
Method explained by LodgeLens · Updated 8 September 2026
Apartment workspace analysis
We inspect the listing gallery for a usable work surface, a separate chair with back support, sensible height, and clear legroom. A host’s “dedicated workspace” label is a claim to check, not proof.
The photo analysis identifies furniture and estimates dimensions. Scoring rules turn those observations into a workspace assessment. Reports show the supporting photo and explanation; alternatives that miss the standard are labelled separately.
Public destination guides describe the properties already analysed. They do not promise availability. A requested report checks prices and availability for your dates and budget.
Explore workspace destination guides →Hotel review analysis
We bring together available guest reviews, listing photos, and nearby-place information. Each hotel review separates areas such as rooms, cleanliness, noise, facilities, and location so that an overall score cannot hide a problem that matters to you.
Complaint counts are shown with their relevant sample size. The available review sample can differ from the number advertised by a booking platform, and text matching across languages may miss relevant wording. Quotes are drawn from English reviews; the hotel page explains the languages included in its counts. Review dates and source links help you judge how current and representative the evidence is.
Our analysis scores are LodgeLens assessments. Guest ratings from other sites are labelled separately. We do not visit the hotels or claim that an AI assessment is a personal travel experience.
Browse hotel reviews →What the evidence cannot guarantee
- Wi-Fi speed and reliability. A photo cannot test a connection. Ask the host for a recent speed test if work depends on it.
- Comfort and precise dimensions. Measurements are estimates from photos. Confirm desk size and chair details with the property.
- The exact room you will receive. Galleries can combine multiple room types. Check that the photographed setup belongs to the room you book.
- Current conditions. Furniture, management, construction, and nearby businesses can change after analysis.
- A complete view of every stay. Coverage depends on available sources. Missing evidence means uncertainty, not proof that a feature or problem does not exist.
Before you book
- Confirm the room type, workspace, and any essential amenities with the property.
- Check the final total, taxes, cancellation policy, and availability on the booking site.
- Read recent reviews for changes since our analysis, especially if noise or internet access matters.
How we earn money
Stay reports are free. We may earn a commission if you book through a link, at no extra cost to you. Commission does not change the analysis or allow a property to buy a passing verdict. LodgeLens is operated by LoreBrain in the Netherlands.
Help us correct a mistake
AI can misread a photo or a review. If an assessment looks wrong or the property has changed, contact us with the page or listing link and the detail we should check. We can investigate the analysis; changes to bookings must be handled by the booking provider.
