Will you actually sleep here?

Sleep is a mixed bag: the beds are generally comfortable, but soundproofing is a real weakness.
Check before bookingSound insulation is a documented limitation, including hallway, neighboring-room, rooftop, stair, street, and nearby-venue noise.
Sleep is a mixed bag: the beds are generally comfortable, but soundproofing is a real weakness. Some rooms are peaceful, while others pick up hallway, neighbour, rooftop, street or venue noise. Light sleepers should request a quiet room and bring earplugs.
Guests reporting this gave the whole stay 7/10 on average.
Guests reporting this gave the whole stay 7/10 on average.
Despite being in a busy area it was very quiet at night
The bed was firm and extremely comfortable
the noise from the moving chairs kept us awake in the evening and woke us up very early
Unfortunately the hotel was also on a road not easily accessible to cars due to some roadworks so we had to walk 5 mins from the main road through dusty construction site roads
Overall sleep prospects are mixed. Beds receive more praise than complaint in corpus-level detection, and several supplied reviews describe quiet stays. However, soundproofing complaints are substantial, with specific reports of hallway, stair, rooftop, street, nearby nightlife, and construction noise. The score reflects a potentially comfortable bed but unreliable quiet, especially depending on room location.

Staff are one of the hotel's strongest points and usually respond warmly and helpfully. Guests particularly praise check-in, everyday assistance and housekeeping, though problem-solving is not flawless. Choose it if personable service matters more than perfectly smooth operations.

Staff were always very friendly and very helpful at all times
The staff at check-in were excellent – very friendly and welcoming
The concierge could have given more details on certain things I asked
one of the cleaning staff threw away reading material which we had left in the bathroom

Yes, breakfast is generally worth booking, with a generous, varied spread served alongside rooftop city and water views. The location is excellent for exploring Lisbon on foot, with sights, restaurants, cafés, nightlife and public transport nearby.
Check before bookingVehicle and rideshare access is restricted; luggage may require walking uphill or arranging a taxi.
The location is excellent for exploring Lisbon on foot, with sights, restaurants, cafés, nightlife and public transport nearby. The steep approach and restricted car access make luggage and taxis awkward, and the central setting can bring some late-night noise. It is best for mobile travellers who prioritise walkability over door-to-door convenience.
Location - close to the centre - easy walking distance from main sights
Very close to the metro station stop from the airport as well as going to Sintra
There is a lot of walking to get in and around this hotel so not the best if it doesn’t work for your family
do be prepared to take a walk from the metro
Overall location is strong for sightseeing, dining and walking, supported by a high provider location score and extensive guest praise. The score is held below the top tier by the steep approach, restricted rideshare access, mixed safety comments and nearby nightlife noise. The retrieved reviews are relevant examples, not prevalence estimates.

The rooms are not a dependable setup for a full working day.
Check before bookingWorkspace setup varies by room.
The rooms are not a dependable setup for a full working day. Some have a desk near natural light, but the arrangement varies and at least one guest found no table; ergonomics and outlets are unclear. It is fine for occasional laptop use, not ideal for dedicated remote work.

However, the supplied review reports that one room had no table, and the photographs show materially different desk setups. Desk size, power access, and ergonomic suitability are not established. Is it worth the money?
22 reviews about this · analyzed Oct 2026.
Guests rate this 9.0 (city average 8.0); our evidence assessment is 5.5. These use different methods and samples; the detail below explains our assessment.
Value is inconsistent and can feel weak when room quality or size falls short of the price. The central location, rooftop breakfast and friendly service add real appeal, but some guests still consider the hotel overpriced. It suits travellers willing to pay for location and character, not bargain seekers.
