The LodgeLens take
A possible fit if these trade-offs work for you
A practical, transit-oriented choice with comfortable beds, generally positive cleanliness feedback, good Wi-Fi, varied breakfast and strong access to nearby transport and places. The main compromises are compact rooms, inconsistent sound insulation, limited workspace, and documented maintenance exceptions. The pool exists but is lightly evidenced; the gym is not listed.

Will you actually sleep here?

Sleep is a mixed bag: the beds and pillows are a real strength, but sound carries through the building and blackout quality varies by room.

Sleep is a mixed bag: the beds and pillows are a real strength, but sound carries through the building and blackout quality varies by room. Choose it for the comfortable bed, not if you are especially sensitive to corridor or neighbouring-room noise.
Guests reporting this gave the whole stay 8.07/10 on average.
Very quiet only five people including us
The bed is super comfortable and has a nice Japanese-style design
Every single noise is amplified by the structure of the building
The soundproofing to the room isn't great
Overall sleep suitability is ordinary to below-good: beds and pillows receive strong praise, but noise insulation is a documented limitation with 35 noise complaints in the last two years according to corpus detection and 15 soundproofing complaints. Supplied guests describe corridor, neighbouring-room, cleaning, cart, and other-guest noise, including cases that disrupted sleep. The retrieved reviews are relevance-selected and not representative, while corpus counts are imperfect lower bounds; therefore confidence is below certainty.
Evidence confidence: moderate. This is a model assessment, not a statistical probability. Limited or inconsistent sources reduce confidence.
What are the rooms actually like?
266 reviews about this · 22 photos available · analyzed Oct 2026.
Rooms are serviceable rather than spacious, with comfortable beds in some rooms but frequent complaints about tight layouts and bathrooms. They suit a short stay or solo traveller better than anyone wanting room to spread out.

spacious
The bed is super comfortable and has a nice Japanese-style design
reception chaotic and to be honest although adequate for a single night the room was tiny!
The bed was impossible to get in and out of and just not comfortable

Bed was very comfortable and room very clean which is most important
A bit dirty room especially the side of the bed that is near the wall
had a broken wire on the edge of the bed
7.0/10. Overall condition appears generally good based on strong cleanliness feedback and reviews calling the property modern or new, but the score is reduced by documented drainage, odor, pest, lighting, and isolated wear problems. Evidence does not support a deterioration trend.
Evidence confidence: moderate. This is a model assessment, not a statistical probability. Limited or inconsistent sources reduce confidence.

Staff are often friendly and helpful, but problem-solving is less consistent when something goes wrong, and check-in can be confusing. This works best for guests who value warm service but can tolerate occasional lapses in follow-through.

The staff provided nice and friendly service throughout the stay
We got there early and they were able to accommodate us before official check in time
The reception staff dismissively told us it was just "nature" and showed zero empathy or professionalism
Getting to the reception for check-in was confusing
Is breakfast worth booking?

Breakfast is usually a worthwhile feature, with a varied Thai and Western spread and plenty of positive feedback.
Check before bookingBreakfast quality is not uniformly positive; supplied complaints mention stale pastries, mediocre drinks and poor value.
Breakfast is usually a worthwhile feature, with a varied Thai and Western spread and plenty of positive feedback. Quality and value are not guaranteed every day, so book it if convenience matters more than having the very best breakfast.

The breakfast was perfect
Below the hotel there is a very nice coffee shop with plenty of variety of food options
The optional breakfast is not really worth the money
Catch is that room we had was smaller than a cabin on a cruise ship and had no refrigerator in the room and the desk was taken up by the coffee maker and safe

The pool exists and gets some praise, but there is too little reliable detail to judge its size, setting or overall quality confidently.
Check before bookingEvidence is sparse and retrieved reviews are not representative.
The pool exists and gets some praise, but there is too little reliable detail to judge its size, setting or overall quality confidently. Treat it as a useful extra, not a main reason to book; noise from children may be an issue at times.
The pool exists based on explicit guest evidence, and one guest called it “Nice pool.” However, the evidence does not establish dimensions, equipment, cleanliness, or overall usability, while another guest documented disruptive pool noise. The score is therefore only moderate rather than high.
Evidence confidence: limited. This is a model assessment, not a statistical probability. Limited or inconsistent sources reduce confidence.

The location is a clear strength, especially for Chatuchak and MRT access, with many useful places within walking distance. It is best for travellers focused on the market and public transport, though the immediate area may not feel especially quiet or convenient for every errand.
It's a great place if you want to walk to chatuchak
The hotel is located very closely to MRT Kamphaeng Phet Station
Nearest convenience store was a bit of a walk across the MTR Station
In theory only 19 mins to walk from Krung Thep Aphiwat station

Fast Wi-Fi that is easy to connect to
8.0/10. Evidence supports available Wi-Fi with generally positive guest descriptions, but no speed measurements or direct video-call results are supplied. The single detected complaint and limited evidence prevent an unusually high score.

Is the desk usable for a working day?

The desk can handle a laptop, but the workspace is compact, sockets are awkward, and room layouts may leave little working room.
Check before bookingThe workspace is compact, and supplied reviews describe limited room and desk obstruction.
The desk can handle a laptop, but the workspace is compact, sockets are awkward, and room layouts may leave little working room. It is fine for occasional tasks, not a comfortable full workday setup.

which is rare that the desk is great for working
Fast Wi-Fi that is easy to connect to
no place work desk area
5.5/10: a real desk and chair are documented, and one review supports laptop use in a single room. However, the images show compact desks, another review says the two-person-room desk lacked comparable space, and a recent supplied review says the desk was occupied by the coffee maker and safe. Socket presence is visible but usability is disputed. Evidence supports an ordinary, room-dependent workspace rather than a reliably productive one.

The hotel is generally seen as good value, particularly for a convenient location and a short stay. Value drops if you need a roomy, quiet room or pay extra for a breakfast you do not enjoy.
