Punto C

Punto C looks promising for a café-style working day with coffee, quiet tasks and occasional meetings, rather than a commitment made solely on the membership page. Guest accounts substantiate work use, internet and private rooms, but do not establish ergonomic equipment, sound isolation or guaranteed room availability.[source][source]

Punto C looks promising for a café-style working day with coffee, quiet tasks and occasional meetings, rather than a commitment made solely on the membership page. Guest accounts substantiate work use, internet and private rooms, but do not establish ergonomic equipment, sound isolation or guaranteed room availability. The biggest practical reservation is arrival reliability: April and June 2026 guests found it closed, although later reviews describe successful visits. Confirm opening and workspace availability before travelling, and trial the seating and connection before paying for a month.

Who it suits

A good fit when…

  • Solo laptop workers who prefer a café setting and value guest-reported quietness alongside coffee and food.[source][source]
  • People with occasional video calls or client meetings, provided they confirm the appropriate room and booking terms.[source][source]
  • Regular visitors interested in a drinks-and-snacks membership, especially if they can use the advertised room or cabin access.[source][source]

Who should look elsewhere

Less suitable when…

  • Workers who cannot risk an unsuccessful arrival before a fixed morning deadline, unless opening has been directly confirmed.[source]
  • Anyone requiring verified sound isolation, guaranteed call-room availability or measured network performance; the supplied evidence does not establish these.[source][source]
  • People choosing primarily for a demonstrated professional networking community: workshop attendance is documented, but coworker interaction is not.[source]

The scorecard

Seven parts of a good working day.

Each rating is supported by cited experiences or, for access, documented terms. An unrated category is an evidence gap, not a zero.

Focus and noise

8.0/10

Separate guests describe quiet working conditions, with another mentioning relaxing music. This supports concentration-friendly café work, but not silence or consistently quiet conditions throughout every opening hour.[source]

Moderate evidence confidence · 3 cited guest reviews

Internet and connectivity

7.5/10

Two guests independently praise the internet, and other reports support video-call use. No measured speeds, upload performance, latency or evidence of sustained reliability justify a higher technical assessment.[source]

Moderate evidence confidence · 4 cited guest reviews

Desk and chair comfort

7.0/10

Guests call the workspace comfortable and well-designed, while another notes plentiful light. These are encouraging usability reports, but chair adjustability, desk size and long-session ergonomics remain unverified.[source]

Moderate evidence confidence · 4 cited guest reviews

Calls and meetings

7.5/10

Separate guests recommend Zoom and video calls, and one describes an actual private-room work meeting. Acoustic isolation, availability and membership booking entitlements are not established.[source][source]

Moderate evidence confidence · 3 cited guest reviews

Value for money

Unrated

Published membership prices can be compared, and guests praise prices and unlimited drinks. However, their plans, spending and access entitlements are unspecified, preventing a defensible membership-value score.[source][source]

Insufficient current evidence for a rating

Location and access

4.0/10

The exact address is documented, but April and June 2026 guests report closed-door arrivals. Later positive reports counter permanent-closure speculation without resolving opening reliability or current entry hours.[source][source]

Moderate evidence confidence · 3 cited guest reviews

Community

Unrated

Bouquet and Excel course attendance demonstrates learning activities, not a professional coworking community. Neither report establishes member networking, regular coworker interaction or a facilitated remote-worker social programme.[source]

Insufficient current evidence for a rating

The reasons to consider it

What works well.

  • Multiple guests describe quiet, pleasant conditions for working.[source]
  • Internet praise is supported by separate reports recommending Zoom and video calls.[source]
  • Private-room use is guest-confirmed, not merely an operator promise.[source]
  • Published weekly and monthly memberships bundle drinks, snacks and workspace access.[source]

The compromises to understand

What could get in your way.

  • Two 2026 guests report finding the venue closed, including one after the opening time they had seen advertised.[source]
  • Positive comfort reports do not specify chairs, desk dimensions or suitability for a full working month.[source]
  • Membership descriptions do not establish day-pass pricing, room quotas, booking procedures, taxes or access hours.[source]

A closer look · Chapter 1

A café working day, with genuine private workspace

The strongest reason to consider Punto C is that guests describe working here, not simply enjoying a café that happens to appear in coworking search results. One reports comfortable space and an actual work meeting in a private room; others call the environment quiet and the workspaces well-designed. A July 2026 reviewer also notes plentiful light. Together, these accounts support trying it for writing, studying or a laptop-based afternoon.

The atmosphere is still best understood as café-style. The operator combines coworking with coffee and flowers, and an August 2026 guest mentions relaxing music. That is compatible with the quiet-work reports, but does not amount to a promise of silence. Comfort praise also stops short of identifying adjustable chairs, generous desks or equipment suitable for prolonged sessions. For a month-long decision, inspect the actual seat you would use rather than translating general comfort into an ergonomic guarantee. Guest-attended bouquet and Excel classes add another dimension, although they do not demonstrate an established coworker network.

A closer look · Chapter 2

Encouraging call reports, without technical guarantees

Connectivity has more support than an operator Wi-Fi icon alone would provide. A December 2025 guest calls the internet very good, and a May 2026 guest describes it as super fast. Separate January and April 2026 reviews recommend video calls and Zoom meetings. These are useful signals for ordinary remote work, but none supplies a speed test, upload measurement, congestion assessment or account of a full day of uninterrupted service.

Private space is also more than marketing: a guest describes holding a work meeting in a private room. The membership page advertises access to rooms or cabins, giving a practical route worth investigating for scheduled conversations. However, a private room is not evidence of soundproofing, and the descriptions do not establish reservation priority, time allowances or availability for a casual café customer. Before relying on Punto C for a confidential discussion or several consecutive calls, ask which space your purchase permits, whether it can be reserved, and whether its connection and acoustic privacy meet your needs.

A closer look · Chapter 3

Published memberships, but confirm arrival and entitlements

The operator currently publishes Punto C memberships at $1,490 weekly and $4,500 monthly, with unlimited drinks, snacks and access to rooms or cabins. FIT costs $2,800 weekly or $8,000 monthly and advertises supplemented drinks, healthy snacks and cabins. The $6,200 monthly FLORAL option adds an arrangement with a free refill when it wilts. The page uses a dollar symbol; Mexican pesos are inferred from the branch's Mexico location rather than explicitly labelled in the quoted plans. Taxes, access hours and room-use limits are not specified, and no day-use tariff is established here.

Guest praise for prices and unlimited drinks is encouraging, but it does not identify the membership bought or demonstrate that a particular plan pays off. Compare the bundle against your expected visits and consumption only after confirming its conditions.

Arrival reliability deserves equal attention. An April 2026 reviewer says it was still unopened at 10:20 despite a stated 9 opening, and a June reviewer also found it closed. Later July and August accounts describe successful visits, so the evidence does not support declaring permanent closure. It does support contacting the branch before travelling to Pérez Valenzuela 78, especially when a fixed meeting makes a failed arrival costly.

Prices and access at Punto C.

Published prices checked within the last 30 days. These are not live quotes or a promise of desk availability.

We do not have a sufficiently recent, sourced price for this space. Ask the operator for a written quote including tax, hours and the facilities you need.

A day pass and a full-time membership can have different opening hours. Twenty-four-hour member access does not mean overnight access is included in a day pass.

A useful first-day check

Try your real work setup.

Test a call from the area you would use. Check the desk, chair, power sockets and connection with your own device. Ask whether booths and meeting rooms need a reservation or cost extra.

A published facility tells you what to ask about. It does not establish measured speed, low noise, comfortable seating or spare capacity.

Read this before you go

The conditions that could change your choice.

Still to confirm

Leave room for the unknowns.

  • Current pass and membership prices need confirmation with the operator.
  • Internet performance and noise during your actual working hours.
  • Seat availability and the total price for your chosen date.

Hotel VIVE MX wtc CDMX, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

The hotel generally offers good value for the money. Guests praise the value, while the main trade-offs are inconsistent noise control, Wi-Fi, and upkeep. It is a sensible choice for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize location and space over a seamless stay.

Exterior at Hotel Maria Rico

Hotel Maria Rico

The hotel appears to offer solid value when rates are reasonable. Guests mention good value, but that benefit comes with trade-offs in noise, upkeep, service consistency, and room quality. It is a better fit for budget-conscious travelers than for anyone seeking a refined stay.

Less suitable for: Light sleepers or guests needing dependable soundproofing.

Krystal Grand Suites Insurgentes

Value is reasonable when you want spacious rooms and a convenient location, but the experience is uneven. Complaints about expensive, below-average food and inconsistent service can quickly erode the deal. It suits travelers who will use the location and room more than the dining or facilities.

Less suitable for: Guests requiring reliably quiet rooms or fully predictable bed comfort.

How this guide is built

Individual findings drive the rankings.

Each review combines sourced guest experiences with operator information. We assess seven parts of the working day and explain the strengths, trade-offs and gaps. We have not visited or independently tested the spaces.

The overall rating is a weighted calculation from supported category scores. A rating needs at least four supported categories, two core work categories and five distinct cited guest reviews. A facility list or a public star rating alone is insufficient.

See the score weights and evidence rules
  • Focused work: 20%
  • Connectivity: 25%
  • Desk comfort: 15%
  • Calls & meetings: 15%
  • Value: 10%
  • Access: 10%
  • Community: 5%

Unavailable categories are left unrated, and weights are redistributed across the supported categories. Each needs confidence of at least 65% and two distinct cited guest reviews; access can instead use two documented facts. Value evidence expires after 30 days; other category evidence after 90 days.

Rankings use the calculated overall rating, then evidence confidence and analyzed review count, with a stable identifier as the final tie-break. Category shortlists use category score, confidence and the same stable identifier. Hotel commissions do not enter either calculation.

AI assists the individual analysis and writing. The city ordering is calculated directly from those individual findings. Google’s reported rating remains separate from our assessment.
