Sleep is a real weak spot here, mainly because soundproofing is poor.
Check before bookingRecent reviews document nightclub, bar, gym, traffic, and guest noise affecting sleep.
Sleep is a real weak spot here, mainly because soundproofing is poor. Beds and pillows can be comfortable, but guests report nightclub, gym, traffic, and neighbouring-room noise, plus mixed mattress comfort. Light sleepers should request a quiet rear room.
Guests reporting this gave the whole stay 8.2/10 on average.
Guests reporting this gave the whole stay 7.25/10 on average.
Hotel was comfortable and quiet (for a good nights sleep)
The bed was comfortable
We found it difficult to sleep in our first room due to excessive noise from nearby night club. However the front desk were able to help the next day and move us to a rear room which was much quieter
they were renovating the floor i was in so paint fumes gave me a headache

The hotel is clean enough overall, but its upkeep feels uneven rather than reliably fresh. Guests praise clean rooms while also reporting dust, stains, mouldy smells, peeling finishes, and tired furnishings. Expect a decent stay, not consistently five-star condition.
Guests reporting this gave the whole stay 7.65/10 on average.
Those who complained rated the whole stay 6.29/10 on average.
Guests reporting this gave the whole stay 7.43/10 on average.
Room is very clean
There was still dust on a few shelves when we entered the room
Very rundown Overrated
Score 6.8/10. Cleanliness evidence is more favorable than maintenance evidence, but documented dust, stains, dirty surfaces, incomplete cleaning, leaks, and recent wear complaints materially limit the overall condition assessment. The evidence does not establish a reliable deterioration trend.
Evidence confidence: moderate. This is a model assessment, not a statistical probability. Limited or inconsistent sources reduce confidence.

Service is usually friendly and helpful, but problem-solving and check-in are inconsistent. Staff have moved guests to quieter rooms and handled requests well, while others report slow check-in or rude service. It is a reasonable choice if responsive staff matter, but do not expect flawless execution.

The staff including the doormen were very efficient and helpful
Check in and check out were a breeze
Poor and rude and unprofessional staff
The check-in process was unnecessarily slow – I had to wait around 30 minutes

Breakfast is acceptable but not a clear must-book.
Check before bookingMultiple supplied reviews describe limited breakfast variety, including limited Malaysian or vegetarian choices.
Breakfast is acceptable but not a clear must-book. Some guests enjoy its variety, freshness, and value, while others report limited choices, cold food, queues, and slow replenishment. Book it if convenience matters, but nearby cafés give you better alternatives.

Breakfast was amazing too: a lot of variety and all freshly made
and it even had a coffee machine inside
Some of the breakfast items were almost cold when should be served hot

The rooftop pool earns its appeal from excellent skyline views and a relaxing setting.
Check before bookingPool area is reported as small, with one guest stating it had only 10 loungers.
The rooftop pool earns its appeal from excellent skyline views and a relaxing setting. Guests often find it clean and attractive, but the pool is small, closing early, and sometimes unavailable for private events. It is best for a short swim and views, not serious lounging.

Great roof top pool with incredible views over the city and a welcome ‘cool off from the heat
along with the pool is not enough for hotel of this size
Overall pool experience scores clearly good rather than exceptional: the rooftop setting, skyline views, pool bar and positive cleanliness reports are strong, but the pool is documented as small with about 10 loungers, has reported early closing, occasional noise, and a recent private-event closure. Retrieved reviews are relevance-selected rather than representative; corpus statistics provide context but not prevalence estimates.

The location is one of the hotel’s strongest advantages: restaurants, cafés, shops, attractions, and public transport are within reach. The area can be noisy, while driving and parking are inconvenient. It works especially well for visitors exploring Kuala Lumpur on foot or by ride-hailing.
The location is perfect—just a short walk from the Petronas Towers and KLCC
and great metro connectivity with 2 lines within walking distance
Bit of a walk (in heat) to public transport
often had to use taxis to get to some areas of KL
The score combines access to nearby places, transport and sightseeing. Nearby-place counts and distances come from the stored Google Maps/POI scrape; guest reviews supply the practical walkability and taxi context.

Wi-Fi is unreliable and a poor choice for dependable remote work or video calls.
Check before bookingMultiple supplied reviews describe slow, weak, unstable, or difficult-to-access Wi-Fi.
Wi-Fi is unreliable and a poor choice for dependable remote work or video calls. Guests report slow or unstable connections, although IT support has provided a dedicated router when service struggled. Casual browsing is fine, but business travellers should have a backup plan.
Wifi is fast too
WIFI reception is extremely poor with no connection at times
Score 3.5/10. Internet is listed as available, but the supplied evidence is dominated by documented performance limitations: slow speeds, instability, repeated portal logins, failed casting, and difficulty with video calls. A recent complaint falls within the current 180-day window relative to the supplied retrieval date. No representative photographs are relevant to connectivity.

The room has a dedicated desk and daylight, making it workable for light laptop use.
Check before bookingDesk dimensions and chair ergonomics cannot be verified from the supplied evidence.
The room has a dedicated desk and daylight, making it workable for light laptop use. Chair comfort, desk ergonomics, and lighting are less certain, and unreliable Wi-Fi can undermine a full workday. It suits occasional emails better than extended remote work.

Wifi is fast too
which made remote work and meetings difficult
WIFI reception is extremely poor with no connection at times
7/10: The room photographs show a proper dedicated desk, separate chair, visible outlets, and windows. The score is moderated because desk dimensions, ergonomic suitability, and actual working comfort are unverified, while supplied review evidence documents lighting concerns and corpus statistics classify five of seven detected workspace mentions as complaints. Retrieved reviews are relevance-selected rather than representative.

The gym exists and has cardio equipment, windows, and some good views, but its equipment reliability is a concern.
Check before bookingRecent reviews report that all three running machines were broken and that two of three treadmills were out of order.
The gym exists and has cardio equipment, windows, and some good views, but its equipment reliability is a concern. Guests report multiple treadmills being out of order, and gym noise can disturb nearby rooms. It is adequate for basic training, not a dependable fitness facility.

Nice rooftop pool and big gym with good variety of machines
and two of the treadmills in the gym were out of order the entire time
Score 5/10. The gym exists and the photograph shows a visually substantial cardio area, while supplied reviews call it “good well equipped” and “excellent.” However, two supplied reviews document severe treadmill failures, including “All 3 running machines broken in the gym,” and another reports disruptive gym noise. Corpus statistics show 15 detected complaints among 78 gym mentions, but retrieved reviews are not prevalence estimates.

113 reviews about this · analyzed Oct 2026.
Guests rate this 8.9 (city average 8.0); our evidence assessment is 7.0. These use different methods and samples; the detail below explains our assessment.
Value is generally good when the rate is reasonable, helped by the central location and rooftop facilities. Some guests feel the rooms and condition do not justify five-star pricing. It is worth considering at a competitive rate, but less so when priced as a luxury stay.
Great value for money
The hotel is outrageously expensive and the accommodations are not comparable to those of a five-star establishment
