The appeal is a private room rather than a seat on a shared floor. A November 2025 guest found the basic room sufficient for comfortable, productive work, and a June 2025 guest found a windowless room less claustrophobic than expected. These are useful counterweights to the complaints: the setup can work well for independent tasks. However, the June guest acknowledged neighboring conversation, merely finding it tolerable. September and July 2025 accounts describe much worse disruption, including shouting, wall banging and leaving after an hour. The distinction is important: having your own room does not guarantee control over the sound entering it. Temperature is another room-dependent consideration. A January 2025 guest found the cold severe enough to interfere with typing, whereas a February guest tolerated it and suggested a jacket. For a month-long booking, a trial day in the intended room is more useful than relying on the private-office label alone. The evidence does not establish uniformly comfortable temperatures or ergonomic furniture.
